Privacy.
The short version.

We collect very little on this website, and we say what we do collect plainly. Patient health information — the part most people actually mean when they ask about privacy at a medical practice — is governed by a separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices we hand you at your first visit. This page covers what happens here, on the site itself.

i. · About this noticeWhat this covers

This privacy notice describes how Privé Aesthetics, a Dallas-based medical aesthetics practice operating at 6417 Hillcrest Avenue, handles information collected through privemedical.com (the “Site”). It does not cover information you provide as a patient during a clinical consultation, treatment, or membership intake — that information is protected health information and is governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices we provide at your first appointment under HIPAA.

ii. · What we collect on this siteInformation you provide and we observe

If you submit our newsletter form, we collect the email address you give us. We use it for occasional studio notes and nothing else. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link at the bottom of every email.

When you simply browse, our hosting and content-delivery providers (Vercel and Cloudflare) automatically log standard request data: IP address, browser and device type, the page you requested, the referring page, and a timestamp. This is what every modern website logs — we use it to keep the Site secure and running.

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and understand which sections people read. If implemented, it will be configured to anonymize IP addresses and will not use cross-site tracking cookies.

iii. · What we do not collect hereThings this site does not do

  • We do not collect protected health information through the Site.
  • We do not sell your information — ever, to anyone, for any reason.
  • We do not use third-party advertising trackers, social-media remarketing pixels, or behavioral profiling.
  • We do not require you to create an account to view any part of this Site.

iv. · Booking and patient recordsWhat happens when you click “Book”

Every booking link on this Site opens our Vagaro scheduling system in a new tab. Vagaro is a third-party HIPAA-aware platform we have selected to handle scheduling and patient records. Once you leave this Site for Vagaro, you are subject to Vagaro’s privacy policy. Information you submit there flows into our patient record system at Privé and is treated as protected health information from that point forward.

v. · Service providersWho we work with to run the Site

We use a small number of vendors to deliver this website:

  • Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
  • Cloudflare — DNS, performance, and security.
  • Google Fonts — serving the typefaces you see on this page.
  • Vagaro — appointment scheduling (separate platform, opens in a new tab).
  • An email-marketing provider for the newsletter, to be named here once selected.

Each vendor receives only what is necessary to perform its role. None of them are authorized to use your information for their own purposes.

vi. · CookiesWhat this site stores in your browser

This Site uses a minimal set of functional cookies and local-storage entries — for example, to remember whether you’ve dismissed the cookie or promotional banner. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics, the relevant cookie will be first-party and will respect your browser’s “Do Not Track” signal.

vii. · Your choicesRights you have over your information

You can ask us to do any of the following at any time, and we will:

  • Show you what we have on file under your email address.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete the email address from our newsletter list (this is also a one-click unsubscribe in the email itself).

Texas does not currently offer a comprehensive consumer-data law on the order of California’s CCPA, but we honor these requests regardless of where you live. To make a request, email info@privemedical.com with the subject line Privacy Request.

viii. · ChildrenThe Site is not for children

This Site and our services are intended for adults aged eighteen and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted information through the Site, please contact us and we will delete it.

ix. · Patient health informationHIPAA & the separate Notice

Information you share during a consultation, treatment, or as a member of The Luxe Skin Club is protected health information under the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Our handling of that information is described in our Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide in writing at your first appointment and keep available at the front desk. If you would like a copy by email, write to info@privemedical.com.

x. · ChangesIf this notice changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes — for example, the addition of a new analytics or marketing vendor — will be flagged at the top of this page for thirty days.

If anything in this notice is unclear or you would like a question answered before you book, just write to us. We answer ourselves.
