What it is.
truSculpt iD is a hands-free monopolar radiofrequency device cleared by the FDA for permanent fat reduction. Multiple applicators are positioned on the treatment area; the device delivers controlled RF energy that heats subcutaneous fat to apoptotic temperatures (~45–47°C) for 15 minutes while leaving the surface skin and underlying muscle unaffected. Treated fat cells are gradually cleared by the body over 6–12 weeks.
The right tool for stubborn fat that doesn't respond to diet and exercise — not a weight-loss device. Most clients see meaningful reduction in the treated area after a single 15-minute session; some areas benefit from a second pass at 8–12 weeks.

What to expect.
A truSculpt appointment is 30–45 minutes total, with the actual RF treatment running 15 minutes. The applicators feel like a hot stone massage — most clients find it comfortable. You can return to normal activity immediately; the area may feel warm and look mildly red for 2–4 hours.
Visible results build over 6–12 weeks as the body clears the treated fat cells. Most clients see meaningful contour change after a single session; some areas are scheduled for a second pass at 8–12 weeks for additional reduction.

Considerations.
truSculpt is not a weight-loss treatment — it's targeted fat reduction in a defined area. Best candidates are within ~25 lb of their goal weight with a stable diet and exercise routine and a defined area of stubborn subcutaneous fat. Contraindications include pregnancy, pacemakers or implanted electronic devices, metal implants in the treatment area, and active skin infection or open wound at the site.
