What they are.

Dermaplaning uses a surgical-grade single-use blade, held at a 45-degree angle, to gently scrape away dead surface cells and the fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) that catches light and visibly dulls the skin. The result: a smoother surface, a clearer makeup base, and meaningfully better absorption of any product applied afterward.

DiamondGlow is a 3-in-1 dermal infusion: a diamond-tipped wand simultaneously exfoliates the skin, suction-extracts pore debris, and infuses a custom serum (we choose from brightening, clarifying, hydrating, or volume formulations) directly into the freshly resurfaced surface. Combined, they're the most-requested glow facial we offer.

What we treat.

• Vellus hair (peach fuzz) — particularly visible in selfies and under makeup.
• Congested pores & blackheads — DiamondGlow's vacuum extraction does the work that "extractions" claims to do, properly.

A Dermaplane + DiamondGlow appointment is 45–60 minutes. We start with a quick skin assessment, then dermaplaning (you feel a soft scratching, like a feathered eraser), then DiamondGlow with your selected infusion serum. You'll leave with skin that catches light differently — more luminous, softer to touch, makeup-ready immediately.

Results & cadence.

Result is immediate and lasts ~3–4 weeks. Monthly cadence keeps the cumulative skin quality where most clients want it. The peach fuzz grows back at the same rate and texture it always did — dermaplaning does not change hair growth. We pair this naturally with monthly retinoid use at home and quarterly Clear + Brilliant.

Considerations.

We work around active inflamed acne — dermaplaning over a flare can spread bacteria. Tell us about active eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea flares; some patients tolerate dermaplaning well, others need DiamondGlow alone. Not appropriate over recent chemical peel, laser, or sunburn within 2 weeks.
