What it is.

EZGel is an autologous plasma-gel biostimulator — meaning it's made entirely from your own blood, processed in-office during your appointment. We draw a small tube of blood (about the volume of a routine lab draw), spin it in a centrifuge to separate the plasma, then use a controlled heating-and-cooling cycle to transform the liquid plasma into a viscous, injectable gel. That gel goes back into you, in the areas where it can do the most structural work.

Because the material is your own, there's no foreign-body reaction, no risk of allergic response, and no synthetic component to break down over time. What goes in is what your body already recognizes — just concentrated, repositioned, and placed where age has thinned it.

What we treat.

• Under-eye hollowing — the most-requested EZGel application, particularly for clients who aren't candidates for HA filler in this delicate area.
• Tear trough refinement — restores soft support without the risk of Tyndall effect or migration sometimes seen with HA.
• Mid-face support — flat cheekbone, descending fat pads — a more biological route to volume restoration.
• Marionette & nasolabial — softens the lines without locking them with synthetic filler.
• Acne scars & texture — the platelet-rich plasma component encourages remodeling in scarred or irregular skin.
• Hand rejuvenation — restores the dermal volume that exposes tendons and veins with age.
• Necklines & décolleté — early texture and fine-line work for the chest and neck.

What to expect.

An EZGel appointment is 75–90 minutes — longer than HA filler because the product is made during the visit. The first 15 minutes is the consult and the blood draw. Then the plasma is centrifuged and processed (about 20–25 minutes — you'll relax in the suite). Treatment itself is 20–30 minutes, placed via cannula or fine needle in the same anatomical planes as HA filler.

Expect mild swelling for 24–72 hours, particularly under the eyes. Bruising is possible. The volume you see immediately settles slightly over the first week; the longer-term collagen-stimulating effect develops over 1–3 months as platelet-derived growth factors signal new tissue remodeling.

Results & cadence.

Most patients see their best results from a series of 2–3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Each session adds structure and triggers another wave of platelet-driven remodeling. Maintenance is typically a single session every 9–18 months. EZGel pairs well with HA filler for clients who want both the immediate volume of HA and the regenerative effect of their own plasma — many treatment plans use both, in different anatomical zones.

Considerations.

EZGel is not for clients on anticoagulants that can't be paused, severe systemic illness, active infection at the site, or pregnancy. The result is biological — meaning slightly less predictable session-to-session than HA filler. We work in conservative volumes, with photographic documentation between sessions, and prefer building gradually over multiple visits.

Every EZGel treatment at Privé is performed by Elizabeth Hurley, RN, BSN, CANS — a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist with deep experience in periorbital placement. The blood draw, centrifugation, and processing all happen in-suite at the Hillcrest studio under controlled medical conditions.
